About Mason
I am 14 years old and going into 9th grade at Verona Area High School. Although you may think I am young for having my own business, I actually started shoveling snow for family and neighbors when I was 7. Since the winter is very busy with hockey and skiing, I thought I would shift my business to lawn mowing, trimming, edging, seasonal cleanup, and power washing. I have been mowing for family, neighbors, and friends for 5 years now.
I have help from my parents bringing a mower, blower, and trimmer with a trailer since I don't drive yet, so don't worry about how I will get my equipment around to provide my services. I am looking for customers in Cathedral Point and Scenic Ridge. Additionally, we have a seasonal site at Crystal Lake Campground in Lodi where I provide services for some other campsites on the weekend.
Feel free to ask me about "odd jobs" that you would consider paying me to do that you don't want to do.
I will only be able to take on a few customers a week, so first come, first serve. The reason I am so interested in earning money is to pay for things like new skis, fishing gear, Mountain biking equipment, hockey equipment, and fun things that may come up from time to time, as well as save for future car expenses like insurance and gas (I only have 1 1/2 years until I can drive). I am learning how to save my money and invest it back into my business as well, so I don't spend everything I earn on fun things. I am enjoying learning how it all works and I strive to always get better!
